Remember the great LJ Strikeout in 2007? Ah, it seems like yesterday: all those fandom flounces, all the overwrought rhetoric.
I started this journal then, and then sat back and waited for fandom to rush somewhere. They didn't rush here, that's for sure, but no problem, really, because I stopped posting fannish stuff right about then.
I still love fandom! I still love all my fanly friends! I'm just serving fandom in a different capacity these days—a capacity that does not involve writing fic but still takes up a ton of time. HELLO OTW.
